In this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the Privacy Policy), we provide you with information about how the law firm of attorney Vilius Vismantas “VILEX” (hereinafter referred to as the Firm) processes your personal data when you visit the Firm’s website https://vilex.lt (hereinafter referred to as the Website), on the Firm’s social media accounts, when you contact us by e-mail or phone, you provide us with your personal data, or when the Firm receives personal data when performing contracts with partners or clients who are legal entities (if you are their employee or representative).

To whom do we provide your personal data?

We may disclose your personal data to personal data processors who provide us with services (perform work), i.e. IT service providers, auditors, consultants, and process your data on behalf of the Firm as a data controller.
Data processors have the right to process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and only to the extent and to the extent necessary. When using data processors, we take all necessary measures to ensure that our data processors have implemented appropriate organizational and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data and maintain the confidentiality of personal data.
Your data may be transferred to state bodies and institutions, other persons performing the functions assigned to them by law.

When you submit a request/message to us, our Website creates an e-mail an email that is automatically sent to the Firm. Our emails are stored by Microsoft Office 365. Microsoft Office 365 is owned by Microsoft, headquartered in the USA. Your data is transferred on the basis of the EU-US data protection agreement ("Privacy Shield").
How long is personal data stored?
The retention period for your personal data depends on the purposes for which you provided it to us:
when you fill out our contact form (for the purposes of contacting us), we will generally store your personal data for 6 months from the end of the last correspondence with you;
when you want to join our team and fill out a questionnaire (for the purposes of a career in the Firm), we will store your personal data for 6 months from the date of submission of the questionnaire in order to be able to offer you job or internship opportunities in the Firm during this period.
